About Me

An avid aspiring photographer, this blog is an easier way to share stories and photos with family and friends that are scattered across the globe. I'm a natural blonde (yes, really) who finally went back to her natural color after years of being a redhead - hence the title. I'm in love with reading, digital scrapbooking, photography, live music, history and my dog Dante.

Christmas Crazybooth!

Because we had so much fun last year, we brought back the "crazybooth" idea for Christmas this year. It basically amounts to having my old trusty Canon Powershot set up permanently on a tripod for the night with a bucket of props next to it. :) Not nearly as cool as what the awesome folks over at the image is found blog come up with, but it's still fun for us. This year it was just too darn cold to have it set up outside, so we wound up doing it in the living room. And Dante became one of the most-used props, for some reason.

Enjoy.

Lars infringing on dad's copyrighted pose:

Dante: an integral part of a healthy diet.

I must've been really ready for dinner or something...

Apparently I didn't get the memo about smiling nicely.

So I convinced mom and Ro to do kissy face with me, and this is what happened:

Oh yeah, we are definitely related.

Mom and dad being sickeningly cute:

Ro with her tinsel-covered baby Teddy. If we didn't know where she lived, she would steal him!

They missed the "crazy" memo:

See, Alex knows Dante is good for you!

Stay tuned for what we come up with at Easter! ;)
